GUESS WHICH BITCH IS GOING TO THE DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL?

Yeah, you guessed it. I am.
Me and two friends (yes I do have them xD) are going on the Saturday, the 9th of June. And lemme tell you something, I feel the need to implode with excitement. And that is not an overstatement.

Because quite literally, I'm feeling the need to hug everybody and scream into their ear repeatedly: 'GUESS WHO'S GOING TO THE DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL?!?!?' And then running off before I tell them the answer. Not that it isn't hard to figure out yourself ;)

Tell me this doesn't look insane?

We will definitely be seeing You Me At Six. AAAAAAAARGGGHEEEEEEEEEEEEE. *dies*
 Ugh.
-Sexual thoughts ensue-

Do not even try and convince me they aren't cute. (Kinda, sorta lyrics from Liquid Confidence??) These guys are my favorite band, arguably, all the way up there with Yellowcard, All Time Low and The Used. Their music is just pure heaven in my opinion. *smiles dreamily* Go check them out yeah?? Tell me what you think!

OH DEAR SWEET LORD.
And METALLICA.
-dies-

Anybody heard of Tenacious D??? It.Has.Jack.Black.In.It.

If you are in the wanting of eargasms and heart wrenching laughter I strongly suggest you listen to Tribute by them. Because it isn't the greatest song in the world, it is a tribute to the greatest song in the world; because the lyrics of said song were forgotten.
Ohh! Just go listen to it already >,<

Other bands there include: Kids in Glass Houses, Black Veil Brides, Halestorm and Biffy Clyro!

Shoot me your thoughts underneath, we can music rave togetherr!!!!

My Review of 'Looking for Alaska' by John Green

So I just finished this book yesterday, and I gotta say I love it. It has been 'lavved'.
Okay, so maybe, definitely, not as good as the Fault in Our Stars. But it was truly every bit as amazing as my friend described it to be: not just one of those stupid, sappy love story. In fact, I even found I could listen happily to Bullet for My Valentine and Breaking Benjamin along with it. Which, is good.

I am in love with the writing style and witty humor of John Green, and the overall hilarity in 'Looking for Alaska' was actually, for me, completely brilliant.
Alaska Young, the much sought after girl to Pudge, was a intriguing and enthralling character. To be honest, I was ready to hate her at the beginning of the book; I thought she'd be that picture perfect, badass girl that most of us readers are not so into. Okay, yeah, she's described as being gorgeous, pretty, beautiful, but she's also undeniably screwed up and a total selfish, moody bitch. And not in the good way either. Whatever that means.
All that aside, burying alcohol in the school grounds?? Genius. Hiring a stripper to talk on Speaker Day? Inspiring. And come on, the girl reads!! She's not stupid or a thick headed dunderhead. A life library? Gotta get myself one of those...

The entirely too relatable goals of both Alaska and Pudge to find that 'Great Perhaps' or getting out of the 'Labyrinth' made the story as personal to me as it was hilarious. I hadn't really thought about life in that way, and never really thought anyone else to either. But after reading this book I've seem to come out with a better understanding of these two important life issues. And in the formidable phrasing of the Colonel, I quote- '...I choose the labyrinth. The labyrinth blows, but I choose it.' Straight and fast never is the right way out.
And I'm not saying I'm going to take up Buddhism and try and achieve enlightenment.
But like Pudge; maybe I'm seeking my own Great Perhaps too. And hopefully (unlike his) it does not die... Ehehe...

Now I may wish the book ended somewhat differently, in a way I can't quite put my finger on. But all in all, I am very much addicted to John Green's writing and have realized the up-most important point of becoming more like Takumi Hikohito.
And yes, I think I've come out of this particular novel with a ...New Perspective. (Panic! at the Disco, anyone?)

Makorra Rant: See Me Smiling

Legend of Korra- Makorra: See Me Smiling

I have so many darn tootin' feelings for these two; all the way from the beginning of my discovery of the show (which includes the whole year leading up to its actual release). And I have some sort of feeling they will most likely be one of my new OTPs. A very prestigious list, might I add.

On the actual topic of the art, I think the shading was more than a little blech and the lighting a little to... uh, light? Ya know, not enough shadow. However in the making of the background I discovered these really awesome little tree brushes.
LIKE PRE-MADE BRUSHES IN THE SHAPE OF TREES.
Like cookie cutters.... :3

How cool is that?!!? -screams in happiness-

Art aside, I have some things I would like to put out there about this shipping. I know a lot of people have been saying- 'Oh yeah, Makorra. The second Zutara.'

No.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but Makorra is definitely not a 'second Zutara'. Being a Zutara shipper of several years, I think I would know the difference. It's not Bryke saying sorry, and giving un-needed condolences, because he doesn't need to do that. However ever much some of us might disagree with Kataang, it's not our storyline to twist and suit to our liking. And Zutara is very to my liking thank you very much.

You see, Zuko is hot-headed, passionate and a relatively angry person. Mako is almost a polar opposite. Although both are indescribably hot-

He is indeed calm, cool, collected and unlike Zuko- he is willing to admit to being wrong.
I quote:

Bolin: Mmhmm, very confused right now...
Mako: Your the Avatar and I'm an idiot.
Korra: Both of which are true.

And I don't even think I need to outline the differences between Katara and Korra. That's just a little laughable.

Now any of you out there being happy Makorra is your replacement Zutara fixation; I say to you- please, just no. Zutara has always been, from what I've perceived, to be a hot, passionate, dramatic sort of love. Correct me if I'm wrong- it was always forbidden, some way or another.
But Makorra hasn't even developed yet, except for this kiss-

And this cute little scene here (of in which I totally did not fangirl out -____-):

On a brighty-bright, cheery tone, I'd just like to say how excited I am for more development in this shipping >,<
Very, very excited.

(^^^ I am just very much in love with that GIF. Ehehe... No regrets...)
